Pag-IBIG Lump Sum: How Much You Get After 10, 15 and 20 Years

Many members ask how much they will get from Pag-IBIG after 10, 15 or 20 years. This is your Total Accumulated Value (TAV): your own contributions, your employer’s share and the dividends earned on them. This guide shows sample computations and when you can claim.

This is an independent guide. For official transactions, use the Pag-IBIG Fund website, Virtual Pag-IBIG or a Pag-IBIG branch.

When Can You Claim Your Pag-IBIG Savings?

GroundPag-IBIG rule
Membership maturity240 monthly membership savings (20 years of contributions)
Optional withdrawal at 15 years180 continuous monthly savings
RetirementAge 65 (compulsory) or 60 (optional)
Other groundsDeath, permanent total disability, critical illness, permanent departure from the Philippines and others

So after 10 years you usually cannot claim yet, unless one of the other grounds applies.

What Makes Up Your Lump Sum

  • Your monthly contributions
  • Your employer’s contributions (if employed)
  • Dividends credited every year

Since February 2024, the maximum monthly contribution is ₱200 from the member and ₱200 from the employer, based on a maximum fund salary of ₱10,000. See the Pag-IBIG contribution table.

Sample Computation: 10, 15 and 20 Years

These are estimates. They assume the same monthly savings every month and dividends close to recent rates (6.55% for 2023, 6.60% for 2024 and 6.62% for 2025). Actual dividends change every year and are computed by Pag-IBIG.

Monthly savings (member + employer)After 10 yearsAfter 15 yearsAfter 20 years
₱400 (₱200 + ₱200)about ₱67,000about ₱120,000about ₱194,000
₱200 (₱100 + ₱100)about ₱33,500about ₱60,000about ₱97,000

For the ₱400 example, you and your employer put in ₱96,000 over 20 years. The rest, about ₱97,000, would come from dividends.

Your real amount depends on how much was actually posted to your account, so check your records in Virtual Pag-IBIG. You can also try the Pag-IBIG lump sum calculator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get my Pag-IBIG savings after 10 years?

Usually not. You need 240 contributions for maturity, 180 continuous contributions for the optional withdrawal, or another ground like retirement.

Is the 15-year withdrawal the full amount?

Pag-IBIG calls it an optional withdrawal for members with 180 continuous monthly savings. Ask Pag-IBIG how much you can withdraw under this option before you file.

Do dividends stay the same every year?

No. Pag-IBIG declares the dividend rate every year based on its earnings.
